General Description: Depart staging area to the West to Sundad, (abandoned sanitarium area), Southerly to the small town of Hyder, East to the sight of the 1995 Rail Road tersest derailment. Desert easy ride. Probably about 75 – 80 miles.
Departure time from Staging area: We will have a brief safety meeting, and depart the staging area at 9:30 am.
Location and Direction to Staging Area: Drive West on I-10 to Exit 109, (Sun Valley Pkw) Exit and turn south on S. Palo Verde R. Approximately 6.3 miles. Turn West on Old Highway 80 and continue to the small town of Hassampa (2.75 Miles). Follow old HWY 80 Southerly through a turn for approximately 9 miles. Turn Right on to Agua Caliente Rd. to Staging area. The vicinity of N 33° 15.441′ W 112° 48.548′.
General Information: The weather is predicted to be sunny, in the low 70’s. Bring something to eat and drink. No alcohol please. We will stop for lunch along the way so bring something to eat. Catering is not available on this ride. As this will be generally along relatively flat terrain we will be able to move along. I expect to return to the staging NLT 4:30.

We will leave Surprise around 8 AM, as its 50 minute drive. Should arrive with time to spare. My cell 512-818-2009. Its our first club ride, will bring several different radios for comm.
