Staging: From Phoenix take I 17 North to the Orme / Dugas Exit # 268, about 6 1/4 miles North of Cordus. The staging area will be off to the East when you exit. (Large open area)
Safety Meeting and departure: Sunday April 25, 2021. We will have a safety meeting at 9:15 with a departure at 9:30.
Route: We will proceed East on Dugas Rd, left on FS 68D eventually ending up in Camp Verde. From CV. Northwesterly along 260 to Cherry Rd. Up the mountain to the small town of Orme then to staging. The trip should be about 80 miles.
Miscellaneous: Bring a lunch or snack, we will dine out side of CV in a small park. Bring water as it may get warm. Fuel is available at CV and we can stop for a snack after lunch should the urge move us. Social distancing during breaks. CV temperature high forecast at 80.
