The confluence of Hwy 260 and the Young Road is approximately 36 miles east of Payson on Hwy 260 (34.30224, -110.85766). I propose three days of rides in the NW part of the Tonto National Forest off of Colcord Road and the Young, Road. I am very familiar with this area and there are many rides we can do, all in the Pines at cooler elevations. One day I propose a scenic route down to Young for lunch. There are many ideal sites to camp along the Young Road, on the Sitgreaves National Forest, for the first 3 miles after you turn south, off of Hwy 260. For those who want to stay in a lodge, please join me at Forest Lakes Lodge at Forest Lakes, AZ (928-535-4727). There is also a restaurant there. I will bring my gas fire pit so that we can all get together around a camp fire each evening.

Jim, the White Mountain Jamboree is not a Club event. I only posted information about it in our “News” section. Within the “news” item there should be a link that you can copy and paste to your browser for more information. I understand the event is very popular.
