This is a scenic trail through Box Canyon, east of Florence, AZ (https://funtreks.com/off-road-trails/box-canyon/). You can download a track (gpx file) from funtreks. It can get crowded so, I have scheduled the ride on a Friday. We may be able to see Big Horn Sheep along the canyon walls. The staging area will be west of Hwy 79 (just before Florence) off the Price Road (junction of Hwy 79/Price: 33.05997, -111.37912). It is one mile from Hwy 79 along the Price Road to our staging area (33.06749, -111.36563). From my house, in Peoria, it will be 1.75 hour drive. To make it a loop ride, I plan to take a desert road back that will tie into the Price road instead of driving on Hwy 79. The trail will be 33.2 miles long which, is shorter than most rides, but we have a longer drive to the staging area and back. To allow driving time we will meet at 9:45 am for a safety meeting and depart at 10:00 am.
Please bring as many guests as you wish but I primarily only want to know how many rigs there will be so, please only sign up for one.

Roger/Sally, glad you will be coming. We now have 10 rigs (the max) and I have closed the sign ups for this event. You will be going as my guest so your name will not show up on the list. You are the 10th rig.
I just joined as a new member and see that this ride is currently booked. If members who are currently signed up for the ride back out at the last minute, does the ride then open back up to other members, or is there a waiting list?

Kris, glad you joined the club! I did cap this ride at 10 rigs due to safety and logistics. I will contact you immediately if anyone drops out.

Hi Keith I don’t know what went wrong, but I am sure I signed up and it did not go thru. We really were planing on attending.
Jerry, sorry you were not able to sign up. I responded to you in a personal email. I do not feel comfortable leading a ride with more than 10 rigs. I know only 9 names are showing up but I have a 10 members confirmed so there are 10 rigs.
Hi Keith I signed up for the next ride on Friday and it stated that the registration was successful. What does successful registration mean?
When anyone signs up, and you renew the web page, your name will appear in the list of participants and you will know for sure you were accepted. The web site will automatically provide you with updates. The current list only shows 9 but I have already accepted Roger Hilding, which will make 10 (see message above which was sent earlier). As far as I know, everyone on the list plans to attend.
