Electric light Parade December 4th needs additional members to ride and also need someone to walk ahead of the group. Alicia Snyder is taking the lead but was not present.

Treasurer’s Report – Steve Ferguson (Approved)
Clarification on annual dues. Now is the time for our annual dues. The website will automatically send every member a reminder on December 2. The cost is $30.
Guest Speaker: Gerard Violette, Safe Arizona Firearms Education, presentation was well received. There was interest by many to participate in a concealed weapon class. Stephanie Palagi is coordinating with members of our club to set up a class where Gerard’s instruction will lead to a concealed weapon carry permit. Gerard’s contact information:

Website Update – Rene Borromeo. Rene informed the group that we are very fortunate that our website is free to the club, but in order for this to continue, there needs to be more participation by the club’s members. Participation consists of posting news, rides, and other general information. It would be good if more people posted photographs that would then be viewed by others. In other words, have more traffic of people using our site.
Members’ Recognition
Birthdays, anniversaries, new members
Bragging rights, new toys
Keith talked about the recent ride to the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument. It was 3 days of riding. The ride was posted, with pictures, on the Arizona ATV Riders Facebook Group page.
Ryan Snyder is currently riding the Peace Trail this week and has also posted on Facebook.
Tom Murphy talked about his recent Jake Corner ride to the Sierra Ancha’s.
Committee Reports
Electric light parade- Alicia Snyder (see Tom’s comments above)
Event Committee – Christmas party Dec 22 – Jill Brown. The party will be at Brothers Restaurant. A even was posted on our web page with the menu and costs. It was explained that people needed to sign up on our web site but that their names would not be displayed until payment has been received. The easiest way to make a payment is to use Paypal, electronically, but members can also provide a check to Steve Ferguson.
Spring Event – Need folks to help organize and find a place to have the event. No one volunteered.
Merchandise – John Williams. John still has merchandise on hand but, it is becoming apparent that supply issues may slow down receipt of merchandise in the future.
New Business – Should we renew our relationship with Brothers Restaurant? Everyone at the meeting thought the service and food was good at Brothers Restaurant and agreed to continue our relationship. Tom Murphy would approach the restaurant for a 4 or 5 month obligation at which time the Club could reassess.
Unfinished Business
Keith Menasco will lead the effort to seek nominations to the Board for 2022.
Linda Jennings, past President, participated in our meeting and led an Arizona trivia question that, unfortunately, no one knew the answer the cash prize was not awarded. The question was about a famous hotel in Douglas where it is storied that Poncho Villa rode his horse up the staircase and chipped one of the marble steps. To this day many people visit the hotel looking for this chipped step.
50/50 drawing and a drawing for a ATV light system was held with winners. But, unfortunately, I did not record their names.
Next Meeting December 15th which will also be our Christmas Party (see committee reports above).
