For those that ride in the Table Mesa area should note that the trail leading to Indian Mesa, ( the Indian Fort)
N 33° 57′ 54.44, W 112° 13′ 38.48 is now sporting a major steel gate. The gate restricts vehicle traffic to the Fort. As of this writing there is no explanation for the gate, one can only suspect that vandalism may be involved.

The other possibility is that they might have closed it early if Eagles were nesting there already. Not sure where but I know some areas up there and part of the river are typically closed off from mid December to mid May I think it was.
The trail to Tip Top Mine is also gated.
