I want to thank Red Cooney for going with me to survey stock tanks on Hutch Mesa, Sept 9. It got a little warm by late afternoon but, up on the Plateau, weather was pretty mild most of the day. We made it all the way to the end of FS 58 to the 6 Bar Ranch stopping a taking measurements of 8 earthen ponds along the way. The views are spectacular along this trail.  The picture below is of the Narrows Tank.  I have been on this trail several times and have never seen the vegetation so lush and tall. In some parts, the grass/weeds were so thick in the road, it was hard to see where the road went.
