Come out and ride this Saturday June 19th in the cool pines around Stoneman Lake Area at 9:00AM. We will ride mostly forest roads with a couple of rocky/slightly technical sections. Ride will be approximately 80 miles in length and will visit several landmark sites in the area. Staging will be at small lot just to the south of the “T” intersection on Stoneman Lake road. For those not familiar with the area, take I-17 North approximately 75 miles north of Carefree Highway to Stoneman Lake Road which is exit 306. then travel east on Stoneman Lake road for approximately 9.5 miles to the “T” intersection…turn right and the staging area is on your right. The staging area is small but there is plenty of parking further south. There will be a drivers meeting at 9:00AM…we will leave the staging area approximately 9:10. Bring a lunch…we will eat lunch on the trail. We might stop at Mormon Lake Lodge for an ice cream depending on timing and the groups.
