Here’s an oldie but still a goodie. Many of you have driven on these trails to Crown King. For those that haven’t, it will take you 13:15 to watch this video.

We set out on an ATV ride up the infamous Backway to CK trail connecting Lake Pleasant and Crown King. Since it’s been 3+ years since we’ve covered the trail, we wanted to check out some changes and do some scouting and exploring of a few of the lesser known mines south of Crown King.

Overall, I would say the trail has definitely gotten rougher. Past the mine is 4WD only with more serious modifications (skid plates, lockers, etc) recommended. Trail conditions shown were from about a month ago and are accurate as of 10/1/2018.
